Call to Adventure is a new game with an innovative setting and mechanics. The backstory of the game’s world is an ancient civilization called the Callers, who used spells known as Calls to fight back against their enemies. They eventually lost control of their power, which led to two distinct eras: one where magic was strictly forbidden. and one where it exists openly in society but has been tainted by many dark forces that now threaten humanity itself. Players will take on the role of valiant heroes searching for magical relics across this corrupt world full of danger and wonder…

An Invitation to Take Risks On Kickstarter, there’s a board game called Epic Origins.
1. In a few lines, how would you define your product?
Epic Origins, like the other games in the Call to Adventure series, is a tabletop game in which players compete to create the best hero. You grow your character by playing cards, casting runes to confront obstacles, and choose whether to take the road of virtue or corruption. Epic Origins, on the other hand, is a co-op game that pits the players’ group of adventurers against an ever-changing Adversary.
2. Who is the team that is bringing this to market? What is your history, and how did you come to start this?
We’re Brotherwise Games, and we’re here to help! We’re a tiny independent game publisher founded in 2012 by brothers Chris and Johnny O’Neal. While we are still a tiny firm, we have become one of the most well-known independent publishers in the tabletop industry. Chris worked in academics before joining Brotherwise full-time, while Johnny worked as a brand manager for big toy businesses in Southern California.
3. How would you compare your game to other games?
There isn’t much out there that compares to Call to Adventure, but if we had to construct a comparison, it might be “Splendor with adventure!” You get new and stronger skills throughout the course of the game, similar to how you gain gems in Splendor, but there’s a lot of decision-making involved, and there’s a significant narrative component towards the conclusion. We haven’t seen anything like it before, which is why we created it!
4. What distinguishes your game from others?
Making characters is something that everyone enjoys doing. Consider all the D&D characters you’ve created but never used in a game. Making up a hero’s tale in your brain, replete with origin and fate, is a unique experience. Call to Adventure makes the procedure more enjoyable by include rune casting as a bonus!
5. How can everyone be certain that they will get high-quality components and that you will keep all of your promises?
Brotherwise has a track record of launching successful Kickstarter campaigns. Every Kickstarter campaign we’ve run has resulted in a successful outcome. We’re a modest yet well-established business.
6. Why should someone support your initiative?
Back in 2012, we launched Boss Monster on Kickstarter. We become who we are as a result of the web. We adore the community of supporters there, and we owe a debt of gratitude to those who helped us realize our aspirations. We hope you’ll come back with us to do it again!
We’re happy with it!
A dedicated design team provided excellent insight and excitement. This seems to be a fantastic addition to an already excellent series. It has definitely been directed by enthusiastic hands and seems to be a high-quality product. For additional information, see their Kickstarter page or website.
